5. Dinner for two
Whether it’s a candlelit dinner at home or a romantic restaurant out of town, dinner for two is still the Valentine’s gift of choice for nearly 35% of couples.
6. Clothing
Although slightly less traditional than flowers or chocolate, clothing also makes for a popular gift, and 25% of consumers will choose something in this category for their significant other.

Not sure what your lover might want this year? Gift cards are the Valentine’s Day present of choice for 12.6% of consumers.

Although they’re not as popular as flowers, more consumers are choosing to give their Valentine house plants, since they last longer than flowers.
