According to Forbes, Barbara Corcoran is known for turning US$1,000 into a US$6 billion real estate business. Outside of the show, Corcoran shares her business expertise and advice on two podcasts and has published a book on how she became a successful businesswoman.
Corcoran has invested in more than 80 companies and, although she’s not the richest Shark, she might be the most generous. According to Entrepreneur, she recently took her staff out on a shopping spree in New York City.

6. Lori Greiner – US$150 million
Before joining Shark Tank as a guest in season three, Lori Greiner was known for being a jewellery designer, earning herself the nickname “Queen of QVC”.
Lori Greiner is an investor in some of the most successful products to come from the show, including the Squatty Potty and Scrub Daddy. After investing more than US$9.5 million in businesses that appeared on the TV show (not including the US$700,000 she paid up for Legacy Shave in a recent episode of Shark Tank), Greiner is worth an estimated US$150 million, per The Strive. The Good Place Entertainment production company owner has been a favourite on the show.
5. Robert Herjavec – US$200 million
Like multiple other Sharks, businessman and television personality Robert Herjavec appeared on the international version of the show Dragon’s Den. He was born in Croatia and emigrated to Canada with his family at a young age.

As mentioned on his website, Herjavec grew up selling newspapers and waiting tables to earn money, but after creating a computer company in his basem*nt, he went on to launch and sell several IT businesses. Nowadays, he is known as a global leader in information security and is a member of the US Chamber of Commerce Task Force for Cybersecurity. Celebrity Net Worth estimates his fortune to be US$200 million.
4. Daymond John – US$350 million
Daymond John is best known for launching FUBU (For Us By Us), the clothing brand loved in the 1990s by celebrities including rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J. According to GoBankingRates, his fashion empire started when he sold knit caps in Brooklyn, New York, and it was sold to Puma in 2018 for a whopping US$200 million.
As well as doing speaking engagements and selling books, John’s more than US$8.5 million of investments on Shark Tank continue to grow his fortune, and Forbes reports he remains on a mission to see black-owned businesses succeed. GoBankingRates estimates that he has US$350 million in the bank.

3. Kevin O’Leary – US$400 million
The Canadian entrepreneur found success by setting up his own company, SoftKey International (now The Learning Company), in 1986. According to Wealthy Gorilla, O’Leary sold it to Mattel for US$4.2 billion in 1999, but it didn’t turn out to be profitable. He is also the man behind Storage Now, a company that started providing temperature-controlled storage to companies in 2003, with Pfizer as one of his main accounts.
O’Leary’s companies also include O’Shares ETFs, O’Leary Publishing and O’Leary Fine Wines. In 2017, O’Leary became a front runner to be the leader of Canada’s Conservative Party, but dropped out because he didn’t believe he would win the 2019 election. He sits on a cool US$400 million, per Wealthy Gorilla’s estimations.
2. Kevin Harrington – US$400 million
Kevin Harrington appeared on the first two seasons of Shark Tank alongside fellow original panellists Corcoran, John, O’Leary and Herjavec. Harrington started earning his fortune in 1985 when he founded Quantum International and created his first infomercial. He later had success with many more infomercials as the president of National Media – and his home-shopping empire didn’t stop there.

Harrington ran HSN Direct International Inc in the 1990s and since then has also headed up Harrington Business Development Inc, the internet company TVGoods, and As Seen On TV Inc, in addition to publishing many books on achieving business success. Mark Cuban is one of the richest people in the US with a net worth of US$4.6 billion, according to Forbes. The Dallas Mavericks NBA team owner has grown his fortune from investing in Shark Tank projects after he joined the series as a guest in season two. He is expected to increase his wealth thanks to his latest healthcare venture.
Cuban recently launched Cost Plus Pharmacy with the aim to make prescription healthcare more affordable for Americans. This Shark has also become a major influencer in the world of NFTs and cryptocurrency.
